Managing Partner Graphic Design Web Development Web Marketing Partner Companies
Managing Partner - Dan Murphy, MBA:
Dan has worked in a number of industries in both the United States and Canada. In 1988 he started a software development company with two partners that revolutionized POS and inventory control in the BC and Alberta Liquor industries and introduced customer loyalty programs to the food and beverage market.
After earning his MBA in Marketing and International Business from San Diego State in 1993, Dan put his MBA thesis of Non Auto Industry Just In Time Production to work in the Sportswear Industry at Lite Breeze, Inc. Dan helped Lite Breeze develop the largest custom uniform line in the Volleyball market, Blocksport, and become the largest printer of event t shirts in Southern California. Events included the 14,000 shirt Run To The Farside in San Francisco and the America's Finest City Half Marathon in San Diego. Blocksport developed into an international volleyball company also printed shirts for Asics Sportswear of Japan and Kaepa Sportswear from Texas.
In 1996, Dan and a fellow executive at Lite Breeze bought the licensing rights to Blocksport and set up Vectra Sportswear. They were able to take their ideas for Blocksport to a whole new level and develop private label lines with other sportswear companies in volleyball. Being in Southern California, Blocksport was able to "borrow" design ideas from cutting edge surf and skateboard companies like Rip Curl, Rusty, Vans and Airwalk, and customize them to the volleyball market. This put Blocksport at least two seasons ahead of other companies with regards to designs and colors of merchandise.
Vectra was also able to develop their custom camp t shirt market into wrestling, basketball and cheerleading. Vectra Sportswear produced over 100,000 camp t shirts each summer. In 1999 Vectra sportswear was purchased by a large print company in South California and melded into their line of surfwear printing and design. Dan then went onto doing some consulting to that company and other companies looking to get into the volleyball sportswear market in the US.
In 2000 Dan took on some other temporary consulting jobs both in sportswear and in the the POS software industries. At that time the money from the technology booms of the 90's was still flowing. Wanting to put down some roots back in Canada, Dan started Image Creative Inc., a marketing and graphic design company working with both profit and non-profit entities with two partners.
To keep his hand in the sports and volleyball market, Dan does volunteer scouting and player evaluation for former volleyball and basketball clients. One of his clients, John Hunter, won a national championship with Barton County, coached in Japan under legendary volleyball coach Dr. Arie Selinger, and this year will start an elite volleyball club in Texas to train the cap junior volleyball players in the US. Look for these players in the 2010 Summer Olympics for the US.

Graphic Design - Rommel Cruz:
Rommel has worked as a graphic designer for over 5 years. His experience in visual arts however goes back much earlier. He trained as a Computer Graphic Designer at both Vancouver Career College and Metro Training Institute, and holds a Diploma in Fine Arts from The Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design where he attended under scholarships.
Rommel applies his color and composition techniques as an illustrator, painter, and designer, which results in bold and attractive designs. When he isn't busy on a design project, Rommel is at work on a commissioned painting or portrait. "A lot of people put the 'cart before the horse', in that they believe that the latest graphics program or the fastest computer will bring them a successful design" says Rommel. "All of that helps of course, but I believe that a solid foundation in design and art as a whole is more powerful and advantageous".

Liz Gaige - Marketing Cartographer:
Liz Gaige launched her successful marketing career during the technology boom, leveraging her knowledge and skills into consulting for a wide array of businesses. Drawing on her unique perspective of key marketing principles and plenty of hands-on experience, she has translated success in product and services across a variety of industries.
A cartographer is "a person who draws maps." Traditionally a cartographer is sent into unknown territory and asked to find the safest, easiest route through challenging terrain. Marketing Cartographer describes Liz's approach in providing clients with the information and tools they need to successfully market their businesses.
In working with a diverse clientele, Liz found that many businesses, regardless of size or industry, spent a lot of time and money "wandering" in their efforts to get results. They set out on their marketing adventure without a clear destination in mind, and without a defined plan on how to reach their goals.
Liz passionately believes that marketing can provide a measurable and valuable return, and thus the Marketing Map was born. Her Marketing Maps help Liz's clients' navigate their businesses towards an identified destination, using the most efficient and profitable ways into market.
Professional Speaking
In addition to her work with clients and their marketing teams, Liz is a sought after speaker, coach, and consultant. She speaks to business groups on a variety of topics related to getting the most out of marketing and learning how to navigate new and changing business landscape.
